Making use of our capabilities allows you to focus on your own value-added experiments without wasting time on those necessary background chores. For example, we can isolate high-quality plasmid or genomic DNA from a wide range of cell and tissue types suitable for downstream applications from cloning to transfections. Phage-display and two-hybrid systems can be used to identify interacting proteins. And we also have the capability of accessing anti-viral activity using viral plaque assays.
Site-directed mutagenesis is another powerful tool used to identify critical residues in proteins of interest. We are able to express 'difficult' proteins in our labs, and we can then characterize them using our extensive array of analytical tools.
We also have considerable expertise in DNA clearance assays and would be happy to assist you in choosing the appropriate technology, determining your experimental design, and writing the requisite method characterization and validation protocols.
